Put a limit to the Artifical Intelligence!
Prelude: I am not against Artificial Intelligence, but we should be aware if someone will create one without learning limits!
You know that I am a tech lover and retro nostalgic. Before, computing was really fun: The C64, the Commodore Amiga, the MEGA65 Project now... But what about the power we reached actually in computing? Let's talk about the AI: the Artificial Intelligence. Many people think that AI is not harmful or it won't be harmful to us into the future, but my point of view is different.
An artificial intelligence is constrainted by the sum of it's inputs: this means only one thing: an AI can learn only what you are feeding it for. For example, there are specific AIs to create images, music, text and unfortunately, today an AI can write an entire website or software by it's own, feeding it with a simple scratch on a paper! AI can replace human work soon!
But as I told before, as the AI is constrainted by it's inputs, what should happen if this artificial intelligence is programmed without a limit? What if an AI is programmed to learn everything you feed into, without putting a limit?
Yes... The AI in this case, as is able to take decisions by it's own, can decide autonomously, or in the worst case, can decide between what is good and what is bad!
Actually, Sophia is the most advanced AI robot today: but what are her limits? Does Sophia have constraints about what she can learn and what can be ignored? What if someone will decide to create (or already made) an AI that can and learn continuously without ignoring any input, without any constraint limit?
PS: Actually AI can give us really bizzarre results from our inputs: DALL-E for example, generated macabre and grotesque images by feeding it with negative promt.
